Lokmanya Hospitals is the pioneer again for the benefit of the sufferers of Joint pain

We introduced and performed hip replacement at Lokmanya Hospitals, Pune, using Actis stem for the first time in India and the approach used was DAA. The combination of Actis with the DAA approach which involves less bleeding and same day mobilization can be a revolutionary development in the field of Hip replacement.

It was wonderful meeting Dr Phonthakorn Panichkul, MD (Thailand). There was a very fruitful clinical discussion with my surgeons’ team on important aspects of the patient selection for the Direct Anterior surgical approach.
